An Open Letter to State Representative Bartlett

Mr. Bartlett;

Indiana HB 1662 is one of the most asinine bills ever written. How can we file charges against people for sleeping outside while placing additional burdens on people at a low point in their lives. It is important to note that many homeless people need mental health care also.

Those sponsoring this bill need to strategize ways to protect and support these Hoosiers rather than penalizing them. Please let the caucus know that your constituents are vigorously against 1662.
