Arthur Ashe noticed an 11 year-old boy hitting a ball with a wooden paddle on a goodwill trip to Cameroon. He hands him a tennis racket, finds him a boarding school in France and later invites him to play doubles at Wimbleton. That was Noah’s father, Yannick who went on to win the French Open and to lead the French Davis Cup team. I write this for those who have never heard of Arthur Ashe, my tennis inspiration.
